Filmmaker Luca Guadadnino and actor Timothee Chalamet might be working together again in a new feature “Bones & All” after “Call Me By Your Name” which came out in 2017.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Chalamet is in negotiations for the project along with actor Taylor Russell of Waves fame. The movie is based on the novel of the same name by Camille DeAngelis, which has been adapted by Dave Kajganich.
The movie talks about Maren Yearly, a girl who’s looking for a father that she never met, in search of answers to why she has a strong desire and urge to kill and eat the people she loves. The project does not yet have a distributor but the filmmaker hopes to start production in April or May this year.
What’s really controversial about this situation is that Armie Hammer who also starred in Call Me by Your Name opposite Timothee recently made it to the headlines when a few of his quite disturbing DMs were leaked online. The alleged messages included accounts of sexual acts and other cannibalistic explicit fantasies. His estranged wife Elizabeth Chambers finally broke her silence by commenting on an Instagram report about the film that was described as a “cannibal love story movie.”
Elizabeth succinctly wrote “No. Words.”
Hammer has now dropped out of two projects: the action-comedy ‘Shotgun Wedding’ starring Jennifer Lopez and the upcoming series whereas Timothee will be seen in two films, Wes Anderson’s The French Dispatch and Denis Villeneuve’s sci-fi epic Dune.
