Dhruv Rathee is a 26-year-old Indian YouTuber with more than 5 million subscribers. He has Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from Germany and Master in Renewable Energy Engineering. He is often criticised for his anti-government views and for being biased towards a particular political party.
A police complaint was also filed against Rathee on May 9, 2018 by an advocate on behalf of Vikas Pandey, a self-described ‘Bhartiya Janata Party’ volunteer. The complaint was filed against one of his videos in which Rathee was seen accusing Pandey of spreading the fake news through his Facebook page “I support Narendra Modi”.
