On the latest episode of Music Core, BTS took home their first win with their new single “Butter” beating NCT Dream who took their 7th win for “Hot Sauce” Last week. BTS, NCT Dream and Oh My Girl were the candidates competing for the first place.
BTS also received double crown in Gaon chart rankings this week with their record smashing hit single “Butter”, topping both the digital download chart rankings and taking over the no. 1 place on Gaon’s social chart 2.0. BTS’ “Butter” debuted at number 26 on the Pop Songs radio airplay charts, which mainly gives rankings to the most popular pop songs every week, cycling the Top 40 radio stations in the United Kingdom.
Since “Butter” was released on May 21, Friday, it entering the airplay chart is definitely a big celebration as the track took only three days to enter the Pop Songs Airplay Charts.

NCT Dream claimed the quadruple crown, claiming the first place for two consecutive weeks with their first full album “HOT SAUCE“. The new album also made NCT Dream a million seller as the sales already surpassed 2 million orders for the album. With “Hot Sauce” dominating the charts ever since it was released, NCT Dream’s 2018 mini album “We Go UP” also re- entered the charts claiming the number 5 position.
Since the release of Hot Sauce on 10th May 2021, the album has received the highest sales for any SM Entertainment artist and topping ranking charts including the Hanteo Chart. On May 10, NCT Dream held an online press conference to celebrate the release of first studio album “Hot Sauce,” which will mark the first full-length album of the group’s nearly five-year career. The album contains ten songs, including the title track “Hot Sauce.”
Oh My Girl’s new title track “Dun Dun Dance” claimed the number one position on the overall digital chart this week. Other acts also included Shinee’s Taemin’s new mini album called “Advice” which debuted at number 2 on the charts, Enhypen’s Border: Carnival and finally Fromis_9’s “9 Way ticket”.
