The Vampire Diaries lead actress Nina Dobrev who played the role of Elena Gilbert and Katherine Pierce, said in an interview that she didn’t really get along with her Vampire Diaries Co-Star Paul Wesly who played the role of the male lead Stefan Salvatore.
The actors rose to fame with their main roles in the fantasy, record-breaking show The Vampire Diaries which ran from 2009 to 2017. The show has 8 seasons with 171 episodes. The show’s cast also includes Ian Somerhalder, Kat Graham, Candice King, and Joseph Morgan.

Nina Dobrev and Paul Wesly gained immense fame with the leading roles of Elena Gilbert and Stefan Salvatore in CW’s The Vampire Diaries. Not only are they still friends, but they both make time to see each other. The founder of Brother’s Bond Bourbon, who married Ines de Ramon in 2019, spends time with his former screen flame with his real-life partner. Even their dogs are friends.

Did Nina Hate Paul Wesly?
In a podcast interview called “What would Dobrev Do?” with Candice King who played Caroline Forbes in TVD, Nina revealed that she did not get along with co-star Paul Wesly during the initial days of their Vampire Diaries journey. She said, during the initial days, “I respected Paul Wesly, I did not like Paul Wesly. We really just didn’t get along.”
While Paul confirmed that it is true that they hated each other when they first started shooting the Vampire Dairies and then after a few seasons they developed a mutual love for one another.

After the release of her Netflix movie “Love Hard”, Nina Dobrev posted a picture of her on Instagram, announcing that she will be starring in the fourth season of Netflix’s super hit series, Stranger Things. Her romantic dreams are shattered when she discovers that she is not the man she thought she was, literally.
