Following is the list of things to expect from “A SUITABLE BOY”
Vivid acting performances
With a star-studded cast, one would expect great performances and the show delivers just that. Tabu as Saeda Bai was magnificent, to say the least. we anyway get to see a very little of the talented actress that Tabu is. She is reason enough to watch A Suitable Boy. Tanya, as Lata, keeps the audience engaged in all her frames.
Khatter is a jewel in the show. With close to perfect performance throughout the show, he leaves the audience asking for more. Even a young spoilt brat, Khatter manages to capture our hearts. He’s absolute eye candy, especially shirtless!! in his roles as a son, a brother, a friend and a LOVER was a delight. Even his eyes were speaking and in his own caption “The eyes, Chico.. they never lie”

The accent and dialogue delivery is probably one of the biggest drawbacks of the show. A Suitable Boy was intended to cater to the BBC audience, is an absolute horror in terms of accent for more characters than one. It is absurd, to say the least.
Production design and costumes
The show was primarily shot in Lucknow and perfectly manages to capture the essence of the post-independent India. The set designers and production has played great attention to every detail to make it as close to reality as possible. The costumes are relevant and convincing.
A Suitable Boy has beautiful Urdu poetries which have been converted into captivating music. It enhances the audiovisual appeal of the scenes. You will definitely want to get more of the music after you’re done with the show. Here is a small glimpse of the song “Mehfil Barkhaast Huyi straight from Kavita Seth herself
