During her recent appearance on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, actress Shailene Woodley confirmed that she is indeed engaged to her football player boyfriend, Aaron Rodgers.
“Yes, we are engaged,” Woodley told Fallon, “But for us, it’s not new news, you know, so it’s kind of funny. Everyone right now is freaking out over it and we’re like, ‘Yeah, we’ve been engaged for a while.'” She then joked, “I never thought I’d be engaged to someone who threw balls for a living”.

Shailene Woodley talked about how she is still yet to watch her fiancé play in the game, because of the ongoing pandemic.
“I still have never been to a football game because we met during this wacky, wacky time and all the stadiums were closed that he was playing in. So, I have yet to go to a football game,” she said. American sports were never on her “radar”, and while she knew Rodgers was a football guy, she did not know what kind. “And I’m still constantly learning,” she admitted.
“I don’t know him as a football guy,” Woodley said. “I know him as like the nerd who wants to host Jeopardy! That’s the dude I know. He just happens to be very good at sports.”
She joked about how her dog might have been instrumental in the matchmaking process. “When I first met him, I think my dog like pulled me aside and was like, ‘If you don’t date this dude, I will disown you as my mother, because the three feet that I run with you when you throw a ball is nothing compared to the marathon I’m able to run with him'”.

Woodley made this confirmation just weeks after Rodgers casually admitted to getting engaged while discussing some of the best football of his career. “I got engaged,” the 37-year-old had said.
Woodley’s most recent movie, The Mauritanian, was released this month, where she acts along with Jodie Foster.
